Introduction to 2017.

There is only a little more to read. my life got far too busy, and for a time far too tough, for me to want to keep a journal, and it was not until 2017 that I felt settled enough to try again. I wrote a few entries and then, the day after my last entry, our boiler exploded, causing major flooding. By the time life returned to normal I was hopelessly behind with everything and never went back to the journal entries. I have left them in here because they give an insight into my life now, my relationship with Lacey and also into the way Bytes has grown up. Everything is fine with him, by the way, don't worry. You don't understand that now, but you will. Let's get into these last few journal entries.
